Born and raised in Powell River, I returned in 2006 to raise my son in the best town to raise kids. Over the years I worked in small business, outdoor recreation, and as an ambulance paramedic. I’ve been involved in emergency planning from ham radio communications as a youth to community planning as BCAS paramedic chief. I’ve served on various boards and committees.

I’m committed to thriving resilient community through responsible fiscal and social policy. I seek what is sustainable in a world of accelerating change and challenge.

I believe we function best from a basis of respect and connection with each other and our Earth home. I see sustainability as the primary question of our time. It is my principle motivation.

I feel honoured with the opportunity and responsibility as City Councillor.
