How to Submit your Application

Hard copies of Building Permit Applications can be submitted at City Hall during our office hours.

When submitting applications, please ensure that the application is complete and all required documents are provided to avoid delays in processing your application.

Building permit fees are based on the cost of construction per Schedule A of the Building Bylaw. Please contact the Building Department to clarify the costs before applying.

Letters of Assurance

Letters of Assurance (Schedule A, B, C-A and C-B) are documents which form part of the BC Building Code. Ensure all Letters of Assurance are current by reviewing the effective date found on the BC Building Code website.
