Fire Rescue

Powell River Fire Rescue is a composite career, paid-on-call department with two Chief Officers, 15 International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Career Personnel consisting of 15 Suppression Firefighters, as well as approximately 20 paid-on-call Auxiliary Firefighters.

Powell River has one fire station located at 6965 Courtenay Street. The fire station is manned 24 hours/seven days a week by career firefighters.
