Roads Maintenance
The Road Maintenance Division of Public Works is responsible for street and traffic operations and maintenance in the City. Services provided by the Department include:
Winter Road Maintenance / Snow and Ice Management
Residential garbage and recycling collection
Pothole patching
General asphalt repairs
Crack sealing
Curb repairs
Sign manufacturing, installation, and maintenance
Shouldering
Spill response and emergency clean-up
Gate and barrier maintenance
Sidewalk repair and maintenance
Pedestrian walkway maintenance
Roadside vegetation control
Grading – gravel roads, parking lots
Dust control
Road markings – curbs, parking stalls, crosswalks, lane markings, etc.
Traffic control for community and special events
Airport maintenance – sweeping, snow and ice removal, etc.
Bus stop maintenance
Street sweeping
Storm system maintenance – catch basins, culverts, ditches
