Understanding the importance of business connections, the city launched the networking socials in 2022. They proved to be so successful in forming business-to-business relationships through the sharing of ideas, mutual interests and collaborations that we decided to keep going.

Each event features a guest speaker. In the past we’ve had presentations on digital marketing and the labour gap specific to the interests of businesses in Powell River and the qathet region.

For the Wednesday, March 1 social, we’re excited to have special guests from Powell River’s VK Wellness Initiative to talk about making the workplace comfortable for people to be themselves and express themselves in the best interests of your company.

Then it’s time to socialize, network and talk business with each other.

Doors open at 6:45, with the social starting at 7 pm. There will be refreshments.
