Cover for page

Built in 2015 through the Powell River Community Forest Foundation, the Powell River Bike and Skate Park is quickly catching the attention of skate and biking enthusiasts in BC. Located next to the Powell River Recreation Complex, this one-hectare park features a series of progressive bike skills jumps and ramps and was the first bike park in North America to have a concrete pump track. The bike park features designs that can challenge everyone from beginner to advanced riders. Situated next to the Bike Skills Park, the Skate Plaza offers skateboarders the opportunity to perfect their skills on the concrete plaza. Featuring a half pipe, rail ride and other features, it has grown in popularity and has introduced many kids and parents alike to the art of skate boarding.
